New Baby

The new baby was causing a lot of pain to Violet. The pregnancy would have been even more unbearable if not for her great daughter. 8 years old and she already cooked all the meals in the house, cleans up after her mother and even takes care of her. No doubt, this girl loves her mother, but no matter what she did , her mother was always in constant pain. Whenever she asked why, her mother would just say that it's her baby brother.
One Saturday Night, at around 10:30 pm, she woke up to the sounds of the her mother's cries of pain. She sighed as she walked to the medicine cabinet and brought out her mom's pain medication. Normally, her mom would take 2 pills, but the girl decided to take it up a little. She brought out seven pills. She diluted 5 in the orange juice her mother would drink and went to give her mother the medication.
She watched in anticipation as her mom took the 2 pills with the orange juice. If she tasted anything wrong with the orange juice, she didn't show it.
In 5 minutes, her mother's body had gone completely still, but her eyes were alert. "I'm gonna make the pain go away Momma" the girl said as she brought out the knife. " it might pinch a little Momma" as she carefully and neatly sliced open the part where the bulge was the biggest on her mother's belly.
There was a lot of blood.
She dropped the knife and plunged her tiny hands into the gaping wound. She felt around till she took hold of something and pulled.
In the girl's hands laid a small being, covered in blood, still connected to the woman with the umbilical cord . She smiled at her mother and asked "Is the pain gone now, Momma?" she got no response. "Momma, does it still hurt?" she asked again, this time with a little fear in her voice. No response. Tears started to blur her vision. She knelt next to her mother. "Momma?" "MOMMA!!! she cried at the top of her lungs and tears streaming down her cheek. "MOMMA PLEASE!!!" Still trying to wake her up. Shaking her body with all her might. "please, Momma please" she whispered. "Please"
She laid there with her eyes closed for who knows how long. She opened her eyes when she heard a sound.
She was too shocked to scream when the naked underdeveloped fetus stood up and stabbed her in the neck.

No Cameras Allowed

Jacob liked to observe things and take photos. He was so good at them that he became a professional photographer. If it exists, there’s high chance he has a picture of it on his camera. He cherished his camera more than anything and that made him sort of a loner. One day Jacob heard of some new archaeological finds being taken to a local museum. It was his chance to get photos of them. He packed his things and left for the place. There were so many amazing ancient artworks on display but one caught his eye. It was called the “ Dum tu dormies ”. Jacob stepped up to it to take a photo but was saddened to see that the warning “No Cameras Allowed” was placed near it. John looked around, disregarded the warning and took the photo anyway. His camera seemed to malfunction a bit after the picture loaded. He had no time to fully inspect the photo so he went home. Jacob’s camera was mighty expensive when he bought it so he takes extra care when handling it. He keeps it in a locker under his ...

Pipe Issues

As Melinda put on the shower, the water slowly turned red. She gasped and got out of the bathroom. She went to get a drink of water from the sink and the water also turned red. Now Melinda was very worried and scared. She picked up her phone and had seen a missed call from her therapist, she dismissed it and proceeded to call the plumber. He arrived and she told him the entire ordeal. He said the pipes might have some issues. They then proceeded to the tank where the water was stored. The plumber moved to take a look into the tank and gasped with fear. Suddenly and without warning, he was beaten to a pulp, his head smashed, and thrown into the tank landing on top of another body. Melinda looked in the tank and said - "So that's why it's red, I really should stop forgetting where I dump bodies"

Clocks

I hate clocks, always have, They're everywhere marking time as it passes. Two arms and two halves, Woe betide he who time's laws trespasses. I hate clocks, always will, Reminding me of how little time is left. With its ticks and tocks so eerily shrill, The transience of life I never forget. One day when I was in the hillside, Living life like time had stopped. I saw a house and peered inside, And the madness I saw can not be topped. Clocks on every wall, Clocks with bells and clocks with doors. Clocks big and clocks small, Clocks that made my weary eyes sore. I realized time had not stood still, The clocks made it eerily clear. My hope and joy time sought to kill, As it has done year to year. I ran face first into a wall, Hoping to conquer time and end my misery. All went black as I began to fall, At least there's no time in eternity.
