Oedipus

Brandon was a very socially introverted person. The only friend he had was his mother. She was always there for him through thick and thin. He shared his deepest and weirdest secrets with her. Some weirder than usual. Brandon and his mom were so close that if she was younger, you'd have mistaken them for a couple. She knew her son wasn't mentally stable and wanted to help. His dad was aware of that.
Everytime Brandon saw his mom and dad together he seemed to smile and look happy. It appeared he was showing progress. He even befriended the mailman.
One morning, Brandon was eating breakfast - feeling better than usual. His mom noticed that and asked what happened, he said "today's a big day for me!". She didn't understand but felt happy for Brandon as he went off to school. His mom couldn't help but worry about Brandon. Then suddenly, she heard all the doors locking and gasoline being poured into the house. Brandon's dad wasn't around that day, she had no one to call. She tried her best to open up a window. It worked but she was suddenly pushed back in and greeted by a match being thrown into the house setting it ablaze.
Brandon got home and saw his house in flames, his mother's body - burnt to a crisp.
His phone rang and it was the mailman calling. Brandon picked it up and answered in a monotonous voice - "Good Job"

No Cameras Allowed

Jacob liked to observe things and take photos. He was so good at them that he became a professional photographer. If it exists, there’s high chance he has a picture of it on his camera. He cherished his camera more than anything and that made him sort of a loner. One day Jacob heard of some new archaeological finds being taken to a local museum. It was his chance to get photos of them. He packed his things and left for the place. There were so many amazing ancient artworks on display but one caught his eye. It was called the “ Dum tu dormies ”. Jacob stepped up to it to take a photo but was saddened to see that the warning “No Cameras Allowed” was placed near it. John looked around, disregarded the warning and took the photo anyway. His camera seemed to malfunction a bit after the picture loaded. He had no time to fully inspect the photo so he went home. Jacob’s camera was mighty expensive when he bought it so he takes extra care when handling it. He keeps it in a locker under his

Pyrophiliac

Matthew put on the TV to get his mind off things. His mother recently died in a fiery car crash. On air was a show about people walking on hot coal. This seemed to offend him. He changed the channel hoping for something more empathizing. He was greeted by a food show host talking about grilled chicken and saying "The burnt ones taste better". Matthew couldn't help but smile and cry slowly. He always had a love for fire and hot things. When he was younger he'd set things on fire just to see their reactions. He had even lit up an ant arm and laughed heavily when the ants ran around in circles while on fire. If there were symptoms of Pyrophilia, Matthew was showing them. Matthew almost set his house on fire on several occasions. His dad issued a warrant on him, he wasn't allowed to go near anything flammable. He even nearly burnt his psychiatrist's office. Things were getting bad. Matthew began walking around the entire city in no coherent pattern. People be
